Back in August, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis took a USO trip to the Rammstein Air Base in Germany. That trip became “Wounded Warriors,” a short film that recently premiered online. Directed by the band’s videographer Sebastian Paquet, the film shows Davis taken on some training exercises at the base, including some simulated vehicle explosions. He also meets with soldiers that were wounded in action and performs a concert for others. Say what you will about Korn’s music, but it’s moving to see Davis talking to those that have been injured fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, and it must’ve been a nice morale boost for soldiers to be visited by anyone from America, let along the singer of a platinum metal band. The film will make it’s premiere on during the second season of the GI Festival on the Pentagon Channel (what?) in May 2013.
