Tha anticipation is building for Lamb of God’s forthcoming album, VII: Sturm und Drang. So far, out of the pair of songs released so far, “512” is the standout. Today, the band unveiled a video for the track, and it’s a nicely-shot video with a story. Playing like an updated version of The River’s Edge or Stand By Me. In the clip, a group of kids partying by a river (that looks not unlike the bridge and river in Richmond that vocalist Randy Blythe is first interviewed in for As the Palaces Burn) discover a body. The rest of the story is told in flashback as to how she got there and what happens next. While the song was written by Blythe while he was in prison, the narrative of the video is (slightly) more universal.

VII: Sturn und Drang will be released on July 24th and can be preordered here.
