Are you 18 to 20 years old and near Oakland? Do you like Machine Head? If so, what are you doing next Friday? Machine Head are shooting a video for “Now We Die” (which you probably heard yesterday) and they’re seeking extras for it. There will be blood. And dust. And dirt. And you have to break stuff like it’s Limp Bizkit back in 2000. Here’s the call to arms via the band’s Facebook page:

Machine Head are looking for 18 to 20 year old Head Cases to appear in an upcoming video from their new album “Bloodstone & Diamonds”.

Shooting will take place at 6PM in Oakland, CA on Friday Oct. 3rd, and will go late into the night.

If you are interested please reply to Mike@MikeSloat.com with a photo, description (age, location, etc)

** Please be aware that you will need to be in good physical shape. Attendance will require you to be covered in dirt, dust, and fake blood, and you will be required to carry, break, and smash things. Anyone pregnant, nursing, or with an existing medical condition will unfortunately not qualify.

18 to 20 is a pretty specific age group. And by that, we mean that some of the people that wind up in the the video might have been conceived to Burn My Eyes. That being said, imagining the song that will kick off Bloodstone and Diamonds with a bunch of kids covered in fake blood breaking shit seems like it’ll be a good video. Bloodstone & Diamonds will be released in November on Nuclear Blast.
