Next month, Melvins are releasing their forthcoming album Pinkus Abortion Technician on April 20th via Ipecac Recordings. On this particular effort, it will feature two bassists, Steven McDonald and Butthole Surfers’ Jeff Pinkus. Today (28th), the group premiered a video for the song “Embrace the Rub.” The clip was directed by frontman/guitarist Buzz Osbourne’s wife, Mackie Osborne.

Drummer Dale Crover commented about the track:

“‘Embrace The Rub’ is a Steven McDonald-penned punker tune throwback to his days as a young Hawthorne, California punk hanging out with Black Flag. For some reason, I decided that this tune really needed a piano part.”
