This probably isn’t a shock to anyone but, Metallica’s new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct via their own label Blackened Recordings has been certified Platinum for selling one million units. Back in March alone, they jumped up on Billboard Charts to #2 due to including it in the package of their ticket sales for their North American tour. The band was recently presented with their plaques by Blackened Recordings executives at the New Coliseum in Uniondale, NY during the same night as their show on May 17th. Let’s face it, many waited eight years for both a new album and a full tour and hopefully, we will see much more to come.
