Miley Cyrus covered Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole” as well as a portion of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” during her set at Glastonbury Music Festival, which took place over the weekend. The pop artist not only performed Nine Inch Nails’ original version of the classic track, but according to MetalSucks, she also mixed up the tune with her version that was featured on a recent Black Mirror episode.

According to SetlistFM, metal wasn’t the only genre the singer covered during last night’s (30th) set as she also gave a nod to the late Amy Winehouse. Other covers included Led Zeppelin, Lil Nas, Dolly Parton, Ashley O, as well as a live debut of her new song “The Most,” which is taken from her new EP She Is Coming.

It’s evident that Cyrus’ vocal delivery has expanded since 2013’s Bangerz as her performances have matured over the years. As we are approaching the end of Slayer’s legendary career, perhaps the singer will be more comfortable with covering heavier tunes and be up for the challenge to cover “Raining Blood.” Let’s face it, it’s been done before as Tori Amos has her own version of the song.
