Nekrogoblikon have the ‘Power’ (core) in new video

Posted by on August 27, 2013

NekrogoblikonFirst things first: the new Nekrogoblikon video for “Powercore” is nowhere near as epic as last year’s “No One Survives.” That being said, no video is anywhere near as epic as that one, which became a viral hit and put the L.A. band on the map. However, with a new EP, Power, available now, the band have released a video for “Powercore,” the centerpiece of the five song EP. Shot in Germany and the UK in June of 2013, the clip is culled from the band’s live performances. Thankfully, they’ve brought along the goblin that was the star of their earlier video. The song is actually stronger than “No One Survives,” and kind of sounds Children of Bodom-ish, with a little bit of a Skeletonwitch vibe as well.

After an EP release party at the Troubadour in Los Angeles in September 11, the band will be headed to the East Coast for a short tour in November. Catch the video and tour dates below.
