Damn it’s been a fine month or so for retro-looking videos. Just earlier today, Corrosion of Conformity released a video for “On Your Way,” and then there’s Electric Wizard’s awesomely NSFW “SadioWitch” that  was trippy and included drugs and topless women. A few weeks ago, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats released a video for “Runaway Girls” that trafficked in the same vein of delinquent girls gone bad, even starting with a VHS tracking graphic. Now we can add Orange Goblin’s “Sabbath Hex” into the mix. While the Orange Goblin video doesn’t feature drug use and nudity like the Electric Wizard and Uncle Acid videos do, there are plenty of choppers, washed out camera angles, and visuals that would probably be enhanced by psychedelics. The late ’60s and early ’70s are back, and that’s just great.

Back From the Abyss will be out on October 7th, and you can pre-order it here.
