Superjoint, Battlecross and Child Bite recently wrapped up several weeks of touring. A few years back, Battlecross did a cover of Pantera’s ’90s anthem “Fucking Hostile.” Was it a foregone conclusion that Anselmo would get up onstage and cover it with the band? No, no it wasn’t, but Phil got up and did it anyway on the last night of the tour, February 3rd at Vinyl Music Hall in Pensacola, FL. Of note is that the YouTube user that uploaded it must have thought that Anselmo was singing about a place where foreigners stay on vacation for cheap, as it says “fucking hostel.”
