Queens of the Stone Age throw some Foo Fighters in “Feel Good Hit of the Summer”

Queens of the Stone Age are in the midst of their headlining tour with Royal Blood, with it wrapping up at Madison Square Garden in a little less than two weeks. And as one of the best rock bands currently touring, they’re able to tweak some of their songs, like Rated R‘s “Feel Good Hit of the Summer.” Given that the song’s only lyrics are “nicotine, valium, vicodin, mariijuana, ecstasy and alcohol” (and “cocaine”), you’d think that Josh Homme and company might want to jazz it up a little. At their October 7 show, they did just that by dropping a bit of the Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” into it. Given that it happened at the Foos’ “Cal Jam” concert, it was appropriate, and just enough of a tease that the headliners wouldn’t be pissed. Check it out below:
