Queensrÿche has premiered a video for their latest single “Light Years.” The clip features the band playing as camera and light tricks develop interesting patterns with and around them.

Said bassist Eddie Jackson in a post on their Facebook page,

“We’re very excited to unveil our new video for the song ‘Light-Years’, from our new album ‘The Verdict’, directed by David Brodsky and Allison Woest of MyGoodEye Music Visuals.”

“Light Years” is the fourth single from the band’s latest album, The Verdict, which as released on March 1 through Century Media. The band previously released lyric videos for “Man The Machine” and “Dark Reverie” in November and January, respectively. Last month, the band debuted a video for “Blood of the Levant.”

The follow-up to 2015’s Condition Hüman, marks the band’s overall 15th full-length studio effort and third with frontman Todd La Torre. La Torre also played drums on the album in lieu of Scott Rockenfield, who has been on hiatus from the band since 2017 (check out Michael Wilton and La Torre’s discussion on this here).

Queensrÿche is currently on a headlining tour around the United States with Fates Warning that wraps up in Seattle on April 3 (read our recap from their sold-out NYC show here). The band will then play a few one-off US shows before heading overseas in July and August for a run of European dates, which includes appearances at Headbangers Open Air Festival, Rock Of Ages, Wacken Open Air Festival and Bloodstock.
