Revocation has released a music video for their latest single “Vanitas.”
The video consists of footage filmed on the band’s recent European headlining tour. It was directed by Jon Topore of Rivers Of Nihil, who was opening the shows along with Archspire and Soreption.
“A few months back we filmed a music video for “Vanitas” on our European headline trek,” the band wrote in a post to their website and social media pages Monday (March 18).
“The tour was awesome and the crowds across the continent were SICK! Thankfully, our man Jonny T captured it all on camera.”
“Vanitas” is the fourth single from Revocation’s seventh album, The Outer Ones, released in September 2018 through Metal Blade Records. The album is the follow-up to 2016’s Great Is Our Sin. Prior to the album’s release, the band released a video for “Of Unworldly Origin” and streams of “The Outer Ones” and “Blood Atonement.”
Revocation will be on tour across the United States this spring as openers on Whitechapel and Dying Fetus’ Chaos and Carnage co-headlining tour. Those dates start April 18 in Sayreville, NJ and run through May 17 in Winston-Salem, NC. Fallujah, Spite, Uncured and Buried Above Ground will also be on the bill.
