Rob Scallon is an internet superstar. Not only is he making a living by Patreon donations, as well as revenue from his covers of songs, but he’s also crowdsourcing the ‘net for lyrics to his videos. “Metal Mad Libs 5” is as stupid as it sounds, but that’s intentional. Fashioning the lyrics out of YouTube comments, non-sequiturs like “My bologna has a first name, it’s D.E.A.T.H.” and “poopy poopy in my pants” is funny, and given that most people don’t pay that much attention to lyrics anyway, this song could almost pass for normal if you’re not paying attention. There’s also a touching interlude with a bucket that got us a little emotional. Rob has compiled the first five “Metal Mad Libs” into an EP that’s available for purchase if you’re a silly little freak.
