Sevendust want to “Thank You” as they announce new album

Posted by on July 27, 2015

It’s hard to believe that Sevendust have been around for over 20 years now. Despite being a successful band with some gold albums under their belts, the Atlanta band found many of the bands that had opened for them going on to multi-platinum success. They’ve gotten the last laugh, however, as they own their own label, and continue to be as popular as ever. Today the band announced that their eleventh album, Kill the Flaw, will be out on October 2. And more importantly for fans of the band, after having released a few teaser snippets of a song, they finally unveiled a full song, “Thank You.” It’s signature Sevendust, melodic, but relatively heavy. They’ve found their niche, and are sticking to it, but it’s catchy.

Sevendust will be touring with one of those bands that passed them in their initial run, Godsmack. It starts just before the album’s out and runs through October. Here’s where you’ll be able to catch Sevendust and Godsmack:
