Shadows Fall Enter “The Unknown” In New Music Video

Posted by on May 11, 2012

By now, you’ve probably heard a handful of songs from Shadows Fall’s new album Fire From The Sky. In fact, you’ve definitely already heard “Save Your Soul” thanks to us. And now comes a video for the first track off of Fire From The Sky, “The Unknown.” As Metal Sucks points out, Shadows Fall’s new music video takes inspiration from Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Pit and The Pendulum.” But fear not, those who aren’t familiar with Poe’s work (and no, The Raven doesn’t count), because it also features some awesome performance footage.

So go ahead and watch Shadows Fall’s new video for “The Unknown” above. In case you haven’t yet, “Save Your Soul” can be heard right here, while more songs from Fire From The Sky (which comes out on May 15) can be streamed over at Revolver Magazine, Premier Guitar, Alt Press, and RCRD LBL. Also make sure to check out singer Brian Fair’s track by track rundown of the new album over at Metal Injection.
