Slash recently revealed that Guns N’ Roses are currently working on new material.
This revelation came during an interview with Japan’s Rock City in which Slash explained that he, Axl Rose, Duff Mckagan, and guitarist Richard Fortus have talked about, and even started working on new music for a possible upcoming record.

Slash goes on to caution fans about how Guns N’ Roses “works” and that nothing is definite, but he remains hopeful that a new record will be released in the not too distant future.

In 2016, Slash, McKagan and Rose once again shared the stage backed by Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and second keyboardist Melissa Reese.

The Not In This Lifetime tour was “magic” according to Slash who talked about being surprised by the reunion and how much fun he had. He also addressed, it was the longest tour that “Guns” had ever done.

Slash released his fourth solo album and third with his band Slash, Featuring Miles Kennedy and the Conspirtators entitled, Living The Dream, last September.
