After 20 years of being a band, Soilwork are releasing their first ever live DVD this year. Entitled “Live In The Heart Of Helsinki,” the footage was recorded at a sold out Circus Club in Finland, and features appearances by Floor Jansen of Nightwish and Nathan J. Biggs of Sonic Syndicate.

Vocalist Björn “Speed” Strid said this about the new release, which comes out March 10th in the US:

“There could’ve not been a better time than now, with 10 albums out and a very varied back catalogue to choose from. Our lineup now is 50 percent original members and 50 percent fresh blood, which makes it all more interesting. Especially since the newest members have brought so much to our sound and have continued to inspire us to write new and exciting music and also brought a newfound energy on stage. Now is definitely the time to see us. Trust me.”

The band is currently, “writing and rehearsing album number 10.” Their most recent album was a double-album, The Living Infinite, and that came out in 2013, debuting at #59 on the US Billboard charts.
