When you think of German metal, the riffy hard rock of Scorpions or the power metal of Helloween might come to mind. However, to many, the theatrical industrial of Rammstein and KMFDM best personifies the country’s brand of heaviness. Munich’s Megaherz have been spreading their brand of metal for 25 years now, and have built up quite a following in their own country. While the band wears makeup, their sound is very much rooted in industrial metal. We wrote about them before, and now we’re proud to bring you the premiere of the title track of their forthcoming album, Komet. There’s a lot going on in the world, and for the first time in the band’s career, some of the songs on the album, like “Horrorclown” and “Nicht in meinem Namen” take aim at the current state of politics. The title track, which we’re debuting below, deals with honesty, the band states.

Komet will be out on February 25th on Napalm Records, and can be preordered
