Whether you’re looking for the next up and coming band to rave about or see Lady Gaga get thrown up on in the name of art, South by South West has a little something for everyone. And while there’s certainly an argument to be made about the spirit of SXSW being corrupted by commerce, it still must have been rad to see Soundgarden at the iTunes Festival last night playing Superunknown in its entirety 20 years to the week it came out. Thankfully, it was streamed online, and was captured on video. Also captured on video was the band being asked by Spin about their rumored tour this Summer with Nine Inch Nails. It’s really fun to watch the band uncomfortably dodge the question for about a minute. So that’s a yes, then? Check out Superunknown below. Also, if you’re looking for more of those up and comers in Austin we were talking about, check out our top five unsigned bands playing SXSW this week, as well as our definitive guide to all things metal.
