Superjoint announce first tour in over ten years

Posted by on June 4, 2015

After successfully reuniting for Housecore Horror Film Festival in 2014 and planning to perform in European soil at Hellfest in France, sludge legends Superjoint have announce their first North American tour in over a decade, in company of Australian maniacs King Parrot and post-punk Child Bite, both signed to Philip Anselmo’s label Housecore Records.

The tour named “It Takes Guts” will run across 12 cities with more dates to be added in coming weeks and Superjoint’s frontman, Anselmo, is excited as he expresses:

“We’re touring with SUPERJOINT again, because we feel like it, it’s fun, and we’re handsome. And the big plus here is getting to tour with King Parrot and Child Bite, as they are handsome fellows also as well as live forces to be reckoned with. Leave your corpse paint at home. No image required for this one. Bring a date and some sips, and let the music do the rest! Hail Columbia!”

If that isn’t enough, you can watch Anselmo himself announcing the tour in the video below

The trek will run as follows:
