We knew from a few months back that The Atlas Moth was going to begin working on a new album after their run across North America with Atriach and Vattnet Viskar, but that didn’t mean we weren’t going to listen some new tunes in between and that is what we will do today with the release of their new track “The 6th Passanger is Death.”

The song will be released on a split record with our favorite Canadian weird-rockers KEN Mode later on this year. Seems like both bands managed to squeeze this collaboration record in between their already busy schedule with KEN Mode hitting the road in September in a ridiculously extensive tour with Conduct, Fuck The Facts, Child Bite, Life In Vacuum, We Are Hex, Lo-Pan, and even a comedian by the name of Garrett Jamieson.

Catch The Atlas Moth and Vattnet Viskar on their tour at the following dates. Also, as a side note, Atriarch had to drop off the trek due to personal matters, see the statement below and check the dates for the rest of the bands:

To all of our friends and fans of Atriarch: It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Lenny Smith’s mother has passed into the next realm after a battle with cancer.
Due to the timing of this tragedy Atriarch will not be able to accompany the Atlas Moth on their U.S. tour next month.
This comes as a shock to us all as it is sudden and unexpected. We are sending our love and positive energy to Lenny, his sisters and the rest of their family.
