Like John Peel’s show many years before BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter is one of the few places where current, cutting-edge bands play live at least semi-regularly at the Maida Vale studios. His Sunday night show is a good place to hear premieres and interviews, and in the case of The Dillinger Escape Plan, to play a live set, which is what they did yesterday for what’s probably the last time ever as a band, as they continue on their final tour.
