Since all essential work is cancelled, for the most part, artists have been live streaming performances for either entertainment or as a reminder to tell everyone to stay home. Today (25th), Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine and his daughter, Electra, have shared a video via Instagram of the two covering The Beatles’ “Come Together.” The two shared the cover as a reminder for everyone to practice social distancing, which is also a part of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Music Moments, to bring artists “virtually together” during this time.
In more Megadeth news, the group created a playlist called “Quarantine,” which you can check out both below:
“”Come together! Right now… QUARANTINE!
Here’s a lil’ #MyMusicMoment with my dad, @davemustaine, someone who I’d never want to lose! THAT is why the Mustaine’s stay home. We hope you do too!🖤🏡 🧼 Wash your hands, 😷 practice social distancing, 😊 & stay healthy.”
