Japanese metal  band Sigh have a new album, Graveward, coming out in May, and while you might not expect Trivium’s Matt Heafy to show up, he lends his voice to “Out of the Grave,” the first single to be released from the album. It’s, well, nuts. The song is orchestral, features a horn solo, some subtle electronics, a shredding dual guitar solo, and Heavy’s vocals amidst all the chaos. It’s also slightly NSFW if you can see stuff in between all the jump cuts. It’s probably not all that surprising that he would pop up on a Sigh track, given that he’s  Japanese-American. And while Trivium has continued to remain a relatively commercial metal band, he’s still reportedly working on music with Ihsahn as Mrityu.

Graveward will be released on May 5 on Candlelight Records
