When we spoke to Twelve Foot Ninja guitarist Steve “Stevic” MacKay last month, he noted how the group has always made an effort to add humor into its music videos. And recently, Stevic teamed up with Metal Injection to give fans an even deeper look behind the making of the Australian metal groups’ music videos.

In the feature video above, Stevic (who also directs all of the band’s videos) sheds light behind the inspiration behind the bizarre videos for songs like “Mother Sky” and “Coming For You,” and also shares some behind-the-scenes footage from their forthcoming video. As you may recall, that’s the video that will feature cameos from none other than Periphery, as well as a Penthouse Pet, Hollywood grade gore, a seven foot Alaskan brown bear, and a decapitated internet troll.

Speaking of the forthcoming video, you may also remember that Twelve Foot Ninja previously launched an online campaign to help fund the remaining production. Well, not only did the band reach their targeted goal, but was able to raise well over $50,000. That should ensure a pretty epic video from Stevic.

Watch Metal Injection’s feature video with Stevic giving an inside look behind videos created in support of its full-length Silent Machine (due out in the U.S. soon) above.
