Last Saturday night (April 14), Fates Warning opened for Queensryche in São Paulo, Brazil. However, since Bobby Jarzombek had previous commitments, the prog metal group once again used the services of Mike Portnoy.

Of course, it didn’t take long for fan filmed footage of the Adrenaline Mob/ ex-Dream Theater drummer performing with Fates Warning to pop up online. Shortly after the show, though, Portnoy himself posted drum cam footage of him performing “Eleventh Hour” and “Point Of View” on his own YouTube account. While this isn’t the first time Portnoy has filled in for Fates Warning (the first being at the 2005 Headway Festival in Holland), many fans will likely still enjoy seeing the drummer performing prog metal again.

Portnoy’s drum cam footage can be seen above, while more fan filmed clips can be seen after the jump.
