Pittsburgh metallers 156/Silence are gearing up for the release of their sophomore effort, Irrational Pull, scheduled to arrive on June 5th. Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos) produced and recorded the album as the mastering was done by Brad Boatright (Full of Hell/Gatecreeper). The group has decided on this particular effort to make this a completely independent release, and it’s their most vigorous delivery yet. The band has teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere the video for the song “High Dive in a Low Well.” Those who enjoy Daughters, Code Orange, and Norma Jean, will want to check them out.

Vocalist Jack Murray comments:

“Self-destruction steals the show. One can have it all and, at any moment, be stripped of all that’s good in their lives due to the actions and behavior of oneself. ‘High Dive In A Low Well’ is about just that. Being at the very top just to plummet back down to Hell. Choices determine our fate; will they be good or bad?”
