Volbeat’s meat and potatoes rock and roll has probably fueled many a workout, so it only makes sense that their video for the semi-title track of Seal the Deal & Let’s Boogie is essentially a workout video. You’ll get a Rocky vibe from the flick, which appears to have been shot in Brooklyn and not Philly. A boxer running up steps, turning tires over and sparring is set against scenes of the band playing and the pugilist at home with his wife and kid. If the Rocky motif isn’t played up enough, at the very end of the clip, he throws on a hood that says “Brooklyn Rocky.” It never shows that fight that the guy’s training for, so it doesn’t lead up to anything, but if it inspires you to become the Rocky of your own town, then so be it.
