It’s not everyday when you spot your idol at a local hotel. Aside from asking for a photo or autograph, you tend to accept to not expect much from them. However, a local media outlet in Mendoza, Argentina spotted Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine as fans were lined outside his hotel room. Instead of closing the blinds, Mustaine stepped outside with an acoustic guitar from Los Enanitos Verdes guitarist Felipe Staiti and decided to give the fans a small acoustic performance.

Mustaine was in town to search for local wineries as he’s planning a new line of wine. With the reaction he received from his spontaneous acoustic set, Mustaine wants to return to Mendoza for a full Megadeth concert.
