We’ve said it countless times before, and aren’t about to stop just yet – Anthrax singer Joey Belladonna is a national treasure. It’s hard to imagine Anthrax booting him out of the band not once but twice. Regardless, he’s back now, and along with Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford, is one of metal’s best actual singers. Last night, in between the band’s Indianapolis and St. Louis gigs, he took to Chicago’s Wrigley Field to sing the National Anthem, and as far as songs he’s covered in the past week, he pulls it off a lot better than the acoustic Pink Floyd cover. BTW, the Cubs won.
