We have reached the second half of the year, and during this time, many have calculated a few of their favorite metal albums thus far. One of those contenders is most likely Mastodon’s Emperor of Sand which was released this past March. However, Gojira’s Joe Duplantier took this record to a whole new level, calling it one of his top ten favorite metal albums of all time. Last night (10), the Georgia metallers performed the song “Show Yourself,” taken from the new album live on last night’s episode of Conan on TBS.
