Bass skills – do they run in the family? South American fans have been given a chance to figure that out starting yesterday, as Tye Trujillo, the 12 year-old son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, got to show off his five-string skills with Korn. Judging from the fan-filmed footage, he handled things admirably. It’s hard to tell really, as the sound quality is low, but if Trujillo really sucked on bass, you’d probably know pretty quickly. He looks like he’s having a blast too, which is not what most 12 year-olds would look like playing a stadium for the first time.
