Metallica have been laying pretty low in 2015 so far, hopefully to work on their album. In fact, other than playing a corporate party, the only show they had on their schedule this year was the Rock In Rio USA festival in Las Vegas that took place over the weekend. The inaugural festival, which will also take place this coming weekend with a more pop-oriented roster, was headlined this past Saturday by Metallica. Some fans got a very close up view of the set, as they were essentially the backdrop to the show, watching the band from behind the stage. Professionally-shot footage of the show has surfaced online, so if you want to see what Metallica looks like in 2015 (pretty much the same, down to “Lords of Summer” being the only new song we’re hearing from the band in two Summers), check it out.
