Last year, we randomly walked in on a show at the Studio at Webster Hall and were immediately impressed by Wild  Throne. Like Rush jamming with Converge or The Mars Volta on uppers instead of psychedelics, the Washington trio left an impression on us, and apparently also the Roadrunner brass that were also in attendance. They signed with the label earlier this year, and now their album Harvest of Darkness will be released on October 2 on the label. Earlier today, the video for the title track premiered via Noisey. The song sounds exactly what the  band sounds like live. We’ve since seen them opening for Royal Thunder, and they’ve gotten better. The band will be playing some shows with Mutoid Man later this Summer.
