While it seems like a distant memory, there was a time we all embraced concerts and discovered new bands in a live setting. One of these acts for us is the Los Angeles hard rock/metal outfit Zero Theorem when they performed at this year’s 70000 tons of Metal. Today (22nd), the group has impressed us on a different level with the release of their animated video for the song “Translucent.” The group has teamed up with producer Kane Churko (Five Finger Death Punch, Ozzy Osbourne), to work on the new track, which will be available worldwide this Friday (25th). The song is the second track taken from their upcoming EP, The Killing II, which is expected to arrive in early 2021.

Frontman Caesar comments:

“Translucent” represents the act of seeing through one’s outward or public persona to identify the authentic self within. As with other songs throughout ‘The Killing” recordings, “Translucent” depicts a scathing character portrait while questioning the validity and usefulness of the artificial trappings of our daily lives.”
