Maynard’s Ever-Expanding Wine Venture Opens Tasting Room

Posted by on July 17, 2009

maynardwineTool frontman Maynard James Keenan, seemingly on a never-ending mission to promote his Caduceus line of wines (seriously, this guy has been in our faces over this more than all of the Tool albums combined), has announced the opening of a new tasting room in Jerome, Arizona.

The Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards tasting room opened its doors on July 4, and will continue to serve 365 days a year from 11 AM to 6 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 AM to 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Keenan told the Pulse of Radio, “Another in an endless series of complex puzzle pieces has fallen into place. We are many years away from our goal, but the opening of this tasting room is a very, very important step towards achieving those goals. Thank you all for your steadfast support.”

Has anyone actually tried this stuff, anyway? If you have, send us a review at tips [at] metal insider [dot] net. I heard a few bottles of pinot grigio can actually make the Puscifer album listenable. Hi-oh!
