Nachtmystium mastermind Blake Judd was reportedly arrested in Chicago this past Saturday. Exact details are still emerging. However, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Department Of Corrections website, Judd was detained on charges of theft by unauthorized control of property not exceeding $500 in value. Judd’s court hearing is slated for Friday, October 11, with bail set at $25,000.TheDepartment Of Corrections website also posted Judd’s mug shot (as seen above).

At this moment, no one from Nachtmystium’s camp or the band’s label Century Media have commented on the matter. Unless we hear otherwise, Nachtmystium will still be headlining Metal Insider’s very own CMJ showcase. Taking place at Europa in Brooklyn on October 16, the show promises to be the underground metal event at CMJ, also featuring performances from Byzantine, Black Anvil, Ramming Speed and Vattnet Viskar.
